Skild AI Stock: Why There Is No Public Ticker
If you don’t want to read the whole guide or have difficulty reading, you can listen to this guide instead.
Search for skild ai stock and you will find prices, charts and ticker-like symbols on half a dozen websites. Almost none of that is a real market.
Skild AI is a private robotics software company. Its shares do not trade on any stock exchange, and there is no official ticker.
At AI Holic we checked what the tracker pages and company coverage actually say. This guide explains what the company does, how it raised over two billion dollars, and why the prices you see are platform estimates.
The Short Answer: Private, With No Ticker
Every source that tracks the company agrees on the basic fact. Skild AI is privately held, its shares are not available on public exchanges such as the NYSE or Nasdaq, and it has no official ticker symbol.
The symbols you will see, such as SKIA on EquityZen or SKIA.PVT on Yahoo Finance, were created by those platforms for their own pages. EquityZen states this in its own footer. They are filing labels, not listings.
No source gives an IPO date. The one dedicated explainer tracking the company, published by TSG Invest, says it is unknown when Skild AI will go public.
What Skild AI Does
Skild AI builds the Skild Brain, a general-purpose foundation model for robotics. The idea is one AI model that can control many kinds of machines, from humanoids and quadrupeds to robotic arms.
The company sells software, not robots. Its model reaches customers through a cloud platform and an API, so robot makers and industrial operators plug the brain into their own hardware.
Two Carnegie Mellon professors founded the company in Pittsburgh in May 2023. Deepak Pathak is the chief executive and Abhinav Gupta the president, and both previously worked as researchers at Meta’s FAIR lab.

The Funding Story
Investors have moved fast. Forge Global’s funding table puts the total raised at about 2.22 billion dollars across four rounds, and other trackers describe the same arc with slightly different splits.
| Round | Date | Raised | Post-money valuation |
|---|---|---|---|
| Seed | May 2023 | $13.1M | $58.4M |
| Series A | July 2024 | $304M | $1.5B |
| Series B and B-1 | May 2025 | $500M combined | $4.7B |
| Series C | January 2026 | About $1.4B | $14B |
The Series A was led by Lightspeed and Coatue, with SoftBank, Bezos Expeditions, Sequoia and General Catalyst taking part. SoftBank then led the later rounds, with NVIDIA and Samsung joining the Series B.
The jump tells the story. The company went from a 58 million dollar seed valuation to a 14 billion dollar Series C in under three years.
Why Tracker Pages Show Prices Anyway
Private-market platforms model a price for shares that employees and early investors might sell. Those numbers are estimates built by each platform, and they do not agree with each other.
During this check, Forge showed a price of 78.55 dollars dated October 30, 2026, and describes it as its own calculated data point. Clarity showed 73.41 dollars and calls its figure a model-derived indicative estimate.
Notice put the tension in one page. It displayed a price near 73 dollars while also stating that Skild AI stock is not currently traded in the private markets and that it lacks enough data for a price history.
One more caution comes from StartEngine. Its closed Skild offering sold interests in a vehicle holding Series B shares, and its own page stated that buyers were not buying Skild AI shares directly.

What Happened in 2026
The Series C in January 2026 made Skild AI one of the most valuable private robotics companies. Coverage since then shows the company moving from research toward deployment.
In March 2026 it announced industrial partnerships to integrate the Skild Brain into industrial systems already deployed around the world. In April 2026, Bloomberg reported that Skild AI had acquired Zebra Technologies’ robotics automation division.
The company has also grown beyond Pittsburgh. TSG Invest notes a Bengaluru office opened in February 2026, alongside a Bay Area presence.
The Only Routes to Exposure
For now, access runs through pre-IPO marketplaces where existing shareholders sometimes sell. Those platforms generally serve accredited investors only, and transfers are subject to company approval and restrictions.
That is a different world from buying a listed stock. There is no continuous market, no guaranteed buyer for your shares, and no public price discovery.
This article is information about the company’s status, not financial advice, and it makes no recommendation about the shares either way.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can you invest in Skild AI?
Only indirectly, for now. Pre-IPO marketplaces list Skild AI shares from existing holders, generally for accredited investors, and any transfer needs company approval. Some offerings sell interests in a holding vehicle rather than the shares themselves, so read what is actually being sold.
Is Skild AI publicly traded?
No. Skild AI is a privately held company and does not trade on the NYSE, Nasdaq or any other public exchange. It has no official ticker. Symbols like SKIA were created by tracker platforms for use on their own sites.
What does Skild AI do?
It builds the Skild Brain, a general-purpose AI foundation model designed to control many types of robots, including humanoids, quadrupeds and robotic arms. The company delivers the model as software through a cloud platform and API rather than selling its own robots.
When will Skild AI IPO?
Nobody outside the company knows. No source tracking Skild AI gives an IPO date, and the company has announced none. Until it files publicly, any date you read is speculation.
Conclusion
Skild AI stock does not trade anywhere public. The company is private, valued at 14 billion dollars in its January 2026 Series C, and the prices and symbols online are tracker estimates, not a market.
